Nothing reminds me more of my dad than a Champagne Cocktail. Every holiday and special occasion was started off with my dad making his famous Champagne Cocktails. My mom would sip on them while making the finishing touches on the meal and house.
Ray Vega’s Champagne Cocktail
- 1 sugar cube
- 2 to 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- Squeeze of fresh orange juice
- Brut champagne
- orange slices for garnish
- Place a sugar cube in a whiskey snifter, splash it with 2 or 3 dashes of Angostura bitters, squeeze of fresh orange juice, fill the glass with brut champagne, and garnish with an orange slice.
