Coconut Grapefruit Margarita

  • 4 ounces ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces lime juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 tablespoon coconut milk
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • sugar and sweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • grapefruit, sliced (optional)
  • mint for garnish (optional)


  1. Rub a slice of lime around the rim of your glasses and dip in sugar and sweetened coconut.
  2. Pour grapefruit juice, lime juice, tequila, coconut milk, triple sec, and ice into a cocktail shaker.
  3. Shake until thoroughly combined and chilled.
  4. Pour over ice. Garnish with slices of grapefruit, mint leaves, and coconut (optional).
