This is my vision of an elegant and fun Cinco de Mayo party. I want the table to be festive yet edited. My worst nightmare is dancing chili peppers and the gaudy décor that has seemingly become America’s version of Cinco de Mayo. When I grew up my immigrant grandmother instilled a sense of elegance inspired by our Mexican heritage into the house and I hope that carries over to my style today.

The plates and wine glasses are from Anthropologie and can be mixed and matched in a variety of ways to suit different parties and events. No sense in investing in anything too theme orientated that you can only use once a year.
